The Eurofins network is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide sound technical leadership and drive our technological vision across the business. This role requires strategic thinking and strong business acumen to guide the direction of our IT.
In a fast-paced, growing, and ever-changing business environment, IT plays a crucial role in achieving our objectives. As CIO, you will define and execute the IT governance vision, technological strategy, and long-term roadmap. You will oversee IT infrastructure, security, solutions, and operations while contributing to strategic decisions.
Your challenge is to lead an agile and scalable IT organisation, ensuring that technologies are used efficiently, securely, and cost-effectively. You will oversee the design and implementation of IT blueprints across the Eurofins network’s decentralised regional organisations. As the head of the department’s project portfolio, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions while developing KPIs and metrics to evaluate new systems and infrastructure.
A key part of the role is to foster a positive environment by streamlining processes, encouraging innovation, and promoting internal talent. You will also play a critical role in identifying and attracting new talent to strengthen the organisation as it grows.
WHAT YOU BRING
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Previous experience as a CIO, CTO, or in a similar leadership role
Extensive experience in architecting and developing enterprise-level technology roadmaps
High analytic skills with the ability to translate strategic business decisions into quantitative insights
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of initiatives
Strong leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams
Up-to-date knowledge on current technological trends and being well-versed in a variety of business concepts
