Position Summary: As a Bookkeeper, you'll be at the heart of our accounting operations, ensuring smooth financial processes and accurate reporting. This role demands strong Excel skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure with minimal supervision. Your expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis will be key to your success in this position.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 1-3 years of accounting/finance experience required.

  • Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal), organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills a must).

  • Independence: Ability to work with little to no supervision.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), purchase orders, and general ledger processes.

  • Reconcile taxes (Sales, Use, Local, and other filings).

  • Manage company expenses for certified credit cards.

  • Handle bank transactions and reconciliations.

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Prepare for annual audits.

  • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting procedures.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $36.00 per hour
