Description We are searching for a meticulous Collections Specialist based in Brunswick, Georgia, United States. This role is part of a dynamic team in the financial industry, tasked with managing inbound and outbound calls for collections, file completion, closing loans, and utilizing Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will also be conducting loan solicitation for current customers. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls related to collections in a professional manner

• Complete and maintain files regarding collection activity

• Close loans and manage the related paperwork and processes

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Conduct loan solicitation for current customers, providing them with information on additional borrowing options

• Maintain a high level of customer service, resolving any inquiries or issues promptly

• Adhere to all industry regulations and company policies regarding collections

• Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient operation

• Perform various billing functions as necessary

• Employ 'Accurint' and 'Great Plains (GPAC)' tools effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role.

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems.

• Knowledge and experience in Accurint is essential.

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) is required.

• Experience with IBM AS/400 is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Understanding of Billing Functions and Collection Processes.

• Previous experience as a Collector is preferred.

• Sound knowledge of Credit policies and procedures.

• Excellent Customer Service skills are essential.
