As an Equipment Sales Assistant will assist in generating and responding to online leads and inquires with the goal of scheduling appointments and ultimately achieving resale of surplus parts and excess inventory. Attention to detail and organization are critical for success.

    What it takes:

  • 1-2 years administrative support experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Prior customer service, marketing, retail, invoicing (preferred) experience

  • Maintain and organize the Michels Equipment Sales Yard. Rotate new incoming and sold equipment within the yard.

  • Create and maintain weekly advertisements (Truck Paper and Machinery Trader) ensuring all information is accurate and up to data

  • Track conversion ratios such as appointments/sales, leads/converted appointments, appointments made/appointments kept and reports information to management team

  • Maintain the sales team database and file sale records and produce reports as requested

  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
