Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working on a variety of construction projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and frames.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks and props using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
Excellent understanding of safety rules and regulations.
Good physical condition and endurance.
High school diploma; successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is a plus.
