System One has partnered with a manufacturing company who is in search of a skilled Structural Estimator!

Location: Katy, Tx

Full Time On-Site position

Responsibilities:

• Uses a broad range of skills to estimate AISC Standard for Steel Building Structures and AWSD1.1 structural steel.

• Review and interpret client/project specifications.

• Review and interpret structural engineering, design, and standard detail drawings.

Requirements:

• 2 + years of structural estimating, structural detailing, shop fabrication experience, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent is preferred.

• Must have excellent troubleshooting, math, and analytical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of design, fabrication processes, and codes.

• Experience with Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

• Experience in Bill of Material software (Structural Material Manager, Tekla EPM, formerly FabSuite) is preferred.
