We at Grundfos USA are looking for a Product Engineer to join our Industry Customer Service Unit (IND CSU).

As a Product Engineer, you are part of the IND CSU team at our production facility in Brookshire, TX where Dosing Skid solutions and Disinfection Systems are produced.

CSU (Customer Service Unit) is a Grundfos internal support function that offers a range of technical services to Sales Companies, OEMs, other CSUs and Operation Companies. Our goal as a team is to contribute and continue to grow the business in Grundfos by supporting sales as well as business development within customized solutions. You will work closely with other colleagues in CSUs locally, regionally, and globally.

You will report to the Senior CSU Manager and work on a hybrid schedule out of our Brookshire, TX office.

Your main responsibilities :

Handling Inquiries:

  • Technical support to Grundfos sales organizations, Project Sales, and customers.

  • Providing technical clarifications to customers.

  • Product selection, sizing, and system design for customized solutions.

  • Create drawings for dosing pumps, Disinfection Systems, and dosing skids.

  • Create and verify complex dosing pumps, Disinfection Systems & Skid variants to customers.

  • Cooperation with the Development team and the department responsible for Product Configuration Systems.

  • Technical clarification and communication with suppliers.

  • Configurations and documentations of products to customers.

  • Product number and production documentation.

  • Create drawings for dosing & disinfection solutions.

Data and documentation:

  • Maintain product documentation on D&D products & Dosing skid solutions in SAP.

  • Support Application Engineers and Product engineers on documentation in systems.

  • Relationship management with suppliers.

  • CAD/3D documentation.

Your background :

We imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar qualification is preferred.

  • Knowledge about dosing pumps, motors, hydraulic and mechanical design is an asset.

  • Knowledge about water treatment processes / chemicals will is beneficial.

  • Experience using software to create CAD and 3D drawings (e.g. CATIA, Solidworks etc)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

  • Fluency in English (Primary business language is English).

  • Professional communication skills (internally as well as externally).

  • Analytical thinking & Cooperative attitude.

  • Critical thinking skills and a willingness to work together as a team.

  • Customer service and interpersonal skills.
