Design Ready Controls, Inc. Senior Electrical and Software Engineer in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
Serve as a technical resource for control panel design, automation software design, and improvement. Design, develop, and improve proprietary industrial automation software (APE) to automate the design and production of control panels. Lead all phases of design and projects from inception to shipment, ensuring adherence to UL508A, company standards, and customer requirements. Work with software department to implement and improve automation software, by developing prototypes, identifying special requirements and CAD tools. Design automation software that facilitates the seamless interpretation of customer designs to production. Develop and modify schematics and macros in ECAD systems. Develop production documentation and drawings using electrical CAD software. Provide production support, process improvement, and new feature development for internal departments and customers. Mentor others in industrial control panel design and provide technical support to peers. Work with and use power systems, microprocessors, multiprocessors, programming languages, digital signal processing (DSP), and field-programmable gate array (FPGA).
