Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for the first article inspection of machined component parts from the Swiss machining department. This role involves extensive documentation and requires the use of various inspection tools and engineered prints to ensure the quality of manufactured parts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform first article inspection of machined component parts.

  • Utilize general inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.

  • Work with engineered prints to ensure the quality of parts.

  • Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly.

  • Assist in the machining transition process.

  • Utilize knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of Quality Inspection Experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Knowledge of quality control terminology.

  • Familiarity with GD&T standards.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • CMM Programming and operation experience - PC-DMIS.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
