Wage: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour Shift: 1st shift- 6am-4pm- M-F Background Check is Required- No drug Test Job Summary: In search of a skilled machinist with a background in 3D surface machining using Surfcam(or similar). Ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced mold shop and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Company builds multi-piece aluminum molds. Machining is 90% aluminum. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) - Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality - Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment - Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
