Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This role involves managing accounts payable duties and interacting with various departments to resolve issues. It requires a combination of accounting skills and proficiency in software systems like Epicor and IQMS.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of vendor invoices

• Collaborate with the Purchasing and Receiving Departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues

• Exhibit strong multi-tasking skills to handle a high volume of work

• Utilize accounting software systems such as Epicor and IQMS for various accounting functions

• Engage in 3-way matching processes involving Purchase Orders, Receiving Documents, and Vendor Invoices

• Display a strong understanding of month-end responsibilities and ensure timely completion

• Perform data entry tasks and check processing activities with high accuracy

• Ensure the maintenance of detailed written work instructions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

• Resolve any discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner. Requirements • Proficient in the use of Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated experience in Accounting Functions

• Solid knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Experience in Check Processing operations

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies

• Familiarity with Epicor software

• Working knowledge of IQMS software

• Experience with 3 Way Matching in financial transactions
