Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Vice Presidentwithin our team. This role offers remote work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and understand Voyatek capabilities and constraints and articulate that with confidence and integrity to the marketplace.
  • Understand leveraged procurement vehicles and how to position Voyatek to participate on leveraged procurement vehicles.
  • Identify and develop pipeline in the HHS industry to position Voyatek for significant growth opportunities in specific states/geographies/domains.
  • Adhere to the Voyatek pipeline framework as provided by the HHS industry lead.
  • Increase PWin Ratio by: Developing relationships with key State decision makers to better understand their needs and technology preferences. Working with local partners (including socioeconomic partners) to best position Voyatek to prime and win opportunities.
  • Develop RFI response content and perform ROM estimates as required.
  • Qualify opportunities once RFP/RFO's are released and coordinate with the Proposal Operations team to initiate the proposal response effort.
  • Develop relationships with key strategic partners in the HHS industry.
  • Act as a thought leader in the HHS space.
  • Participate in Human Services IT Advisory Group (HSITAG) as required.
  • Attend HHS industry conferences and coordinate internally with the marketing team to prepare for and follow up on each conference attended.
  • Support proposal development (i.e., writing sections, develop key personal resumes/staffing matrixes).
  • Participate in proposal efforts as required.
  • Learn and understand how deals are estimated.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, or a related field
  • 20 + years of business development and sales experience, specific to government agencies.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to write and speak clearly and confidently, and to listen well to customers.
  • 20 + years of experience with negotiation, project management, and CRM platforms.
  • Relationship management and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, and to understand their needs and how the product or service can help
  • Background in sales, business development or customer service
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent data organization and analysis skills
  • Proven ability to lead the sales process and close business deals
  • Ability to grow existing client base and maintain relationships
  • Ability to solve problems

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $169,000 to $296,000.
