THIS IS AN INTERNAL POSITION ONLY

Responsibility: Department of Subways (DOS) Operations Support & Safety is seeking a highly motivated Station Supervisor. The selected candidate will become part of the DOS Safety Unit and will perform scheduled and unscheduled Station/Facility Audits that monitors Field Operations systemwide on all tours. The candidate will also investigate safety related complaints for the Divisions of Stations and Facilities and will provide guidance to managers, supervisors and/or employees on safety related matters. In addition, the candidate may be required to respond to emergencies within the DOS and provide Support as necessary.

Compensation:

Station Supervisor I - (Lateral Transfer)

Education and Experience:

Station Supervisors who have one (1) year in title.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of NYCT operating rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.

  • Personal written and computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must have a good operating and sick record.

    Selection Method:

    Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience.
