Robert Half Project Assistant in Brooklyn, New York
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Project Assistant in the Hi Tech Engineering industry, based in BROOKLYN, New York. In this role, you will be involved in facilitating various tech events by managing event staff and providing assistance as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate event staff to ensure efficient operation of tech events
• Assist in scheduling staff for various duties and shifts during the events
• Act as the first point of contact for all inbound inquiries related to the events
• Ensure all event-related tasks are completed within the specified timelines
• Provide additional support to event staff as required, including acting as an usher when necessary
• Be prepared to extend work hours for providing additional assistance during events if required
• Maintain effective communication with event staff and other stakeholders
• Handle any event-related issues or emergencies promptly and professionally
• Ensure all event operations adhere to the required standards and regulations
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve event objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in the Hi Tech Engineering industry
• Proven ability to answer inbound calls professionally and promptly
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail
• Experience in coordinating and managing engineering projects
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Experience in data entry and record keeping.
