Position Title: Payroll and HR Administrator
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in the accurate and timely processing of Payroll on a weekly basis for salaried exempt and hourly non-exempt corporate employees
Work with all Department Managers to ensure they are completing the weekly review of all of their staffs' timecards and making any modifications as needed to meet the Payroll deadline
Ensure Payroll Manager is aware of all new hires, terminations, payroll changes, paid and unpaid leaves (Sick, Vacation, Holidays, STD, PFL, FMLA, Jury Duty, Bereavement, etc.), and Worker's Compensation claims
Respond to government inquiries pertaining to unemployment claims and benefits; prepare annual EEOC reports
Manage employee Benefits programs such as coordinating enrollment for eligible employees, managing terminations, preparing and sending out COBRA paperwork, tracking COBRA payments, and working with outside broker to update them on any enrollment changes
Assist in various Human Resources administrative tasks, such as, producing annual compensation statements, assist with the onboarding and offboarding process of corporate employees, manage the I-9 process, conduct background checks on new hires, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Payroll Certification a plus
Skilled proficiency in management of various payroll systems; experience in Viventium and BambooHR highly preferred
5+ years Payroll processing and Benefits administration experience
Experience in processing USA payroll for minimum 250 employees
Knowledge of US employment regulations and legal requirements pertaining to Payroll
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to prepare ad hoc reports highly preferred
Advanced Microsoft Word skills highly preferred
Able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Benefits:
Competitive salary - $80,000- $100,000 depending on experience
Full-Time, in-office position in our corporate office in Brooklyn, New York
