Altronix Corp. Packaging Helper (P/T) in Brooklyn, New York
A leading designer and manufacturer of low voltage electronics and power supplies seeks a Packaging Helper.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling and sorting operations. Assemble/line/pad packaging with appropriate packaging materials. Examine and inspect materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met and products are available and prepared for transport. Other work-related tasks as deemed necessary by management.
Physical Requirements: Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items. Frequently requires the ability to lift and move heavy (up to 50lbs.) and bulky items without assistance. Standing for long periods of time.

Work Environment: Work is conducted in an indoor production environment; therefore the employee is not exposed to any outside environmental conditions.
Additional Information: Status: Part-time/regular: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 8:30am-5:00pm (24 hrs. per week) Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (8:30am- 5:00pm) Rate of pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
