Digital Production Manager (71101)Location: Brooklyn, NYDescription:The Interdisciplinary Technology Lab (ITL) is on the lookout for a Digital Production Manager who will play a pivotal role in the seamless operation of our cutting-edge production labs. This role isn't just about managing equipment; it's about fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration among our diverse community of students, staff, and external partners. From overseeing job submissions to providing digital workflow support and coordinating maintenance activities, the Digital Production Manager will be at the forefront of ensuring that our facilities run smoothly and efficiently.Beyond the day-to-day operations, the Digital Production Manager will also be tasked with long-term strategic planning and development efforts. This includes designing efficient and cost-effective systems, continuously improving processes, and spearheading initiatives to expand and enhance our facilities to meet the evolving needs of our institute and external clients. This role isn't just about managing the present; it's about envisioning and guiding the future of digital fabrication technology within our educational and research ecosystem.As a key member of the ITL team, the Digital Production Manager will not only oversee operational aspects but also play a crucial role in nurturing talent and fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
