Altronix Corp. Customer Service Representative in Brooklyn, New York
A global leader in power and transmission solutions for professional Security, Surveillance, Access Control and Fire applications seeks a Customer Service Representative.
The ideal Customer Service Representative will be responsible for performing the below job functions including but not limited to: - Accurately enter and process purchase orders in a timely manner. - Correspond with customers and internal and external company representatives on all matters related to the order. - Diligently follow purchase orders through to completion, working with appropriate parties to quickly resolve issues that may delay timely processing. - Perform general office and clerical tasks. - Other related Customer Service/ Order Entry office duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior experience entering purchase orders within a manufacturing setting/sales office environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional and pleasant phone manner to service incoming and outgoing calls
- Proficiency in use of computers and related software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented work ethic.
- Knowledge of SAGE100 preferred but not required.
Additional Information: Schedule: Full-time, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday Rate of pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour; which may be increased to $20.00 per hour upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.
