We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Nursing Coordinator to join our team. The RN Nursing Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting primary care providers, both Physicians and Mid-level Practitioners, by providing general nursing and clinical support. This includes triage, patient education, and involvement in our Open Access Program.

As a RN Nursing Coordinator, your responsibilities will include

  • Provide general nursing and clinical support to primary care providers.

  • Assist with triage, patient education, and the Open Access Program.

  • Offer clinical and operational guidance for Staff Registered Nurses.

  • Manage the daily schedule for RNs.

  • Oversee Patient Education and Triage Registered Nurses and Nursing POPs.

  • Ensure day-to-day nursing functions are executed efficiently to provide optimal patient care services and clinical support.

  • Conduct evaluations and reviews for nursing staff.

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the process flow of Patient Education, Triage, and Nursing POPs, including Open Access and Walk-in HIV testing.

  • Maintain a high degree of professional competence and adhere to the highest possible ethical standards, including HIPAA privacy standards to ensure patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

Education, Experience

  • New York State RN License and Registration

  • Prior supervisory experience

  • Current BCLS certification

  • Two years experience in an out-patient clinical setting

  • Experience serving Callen-Lordes target populations

  • Strong Computer Competency
