A leading manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to join our their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet the highest standards of quality. If you have an eye for detail, experience using hand tools and measuring instruments, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you!

salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and components for conformance to specifications and quality standards.

• Accurately input data into internal systems for inventory and quality tracking.

• Conduct in-process inspections during manufacturing to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Perform final quality audits of products as needed before shipment or final assembly.

• Use hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify part dimensions and tolerances.

• Keep detailed records of inspection results and non-conformance issues, ensuring accurate documentation is maintained.

• Retrieve prints from files or electronic databases and interpret them to accurately measure parts.

• Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Shipping/Receiving departments to address quality-related issues.

• Be available to work overtime and Saturdays as needed to meet production and inspection demands.
