About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Strapper Operator to join our team in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry. As a Strapper Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of strapping machines to secure products for shipment. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will be crucial in this role. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that production goals are met and that all products are properly secured for transport.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating strapping machines or similar equipment
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and ability to identify defects or issues with products
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry
- Forklift certification
- Experience with basic maintenance and repair of machinery
Responsibilities:
- Operate strapping machines to secure products for shipment
- Inspect products to ensure they are properly secured
- Monitor machines for malfunctions and perform basic maintenance as needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Skills:
