Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Shift First Description SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the VP of Operations, manage the Guhring Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards. Manages the day to day inspection of product insuring compliance to Standards and Customer expectations. Monitor production processes, identify quality deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality and prevent future issues. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards. Identify non-conformances, areas for improvement, initiate corrective actions. Investigate customer returns or complaints related to quality issues, preform root cause analysis and implement corrective action to prevent reoccurrence. Collect and Analyze Quality data. Generate reports to track quality metrics. I identify trends and root causes for continuous improvement. Train and educate employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES: Develop, manage and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Company Quality representative for the interfacing with external auditors for the maintaining of the company ISO9000 certification. Compile and present management review presentations meeting ISO requirements that outline the state of the company. Establish, maintain and publish quality metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities. Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and procedures. Manage internal and external non-conformance reports, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans. Monitor production processes to identify potential quality issues and implement preventive measures. Conduct product inspections, measurements and accurate documentation to ensure compliance with specifications. Provide expertise as to actions required for non- conforming product. Analyze data from quality checks to identify trends and implement corrective actions. Manage incoming supplier quality, conduct supplier audits and ensure adherence to quality standards.
