Actalent Project Engineer in Brookfield, Wisconsin
Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description
This person will be responsible for tracking progress and performing change drawings. They must have experience with AutoCAD, construction, and field work. Site Engineers support Project Managers in the execution of blueprints. Tasks include layouts and measurements, lift drawings, shop drawings, RFIs (requests for information), obtaining materials for the crew, material take-offs (verifying the amount of materials), updating drawings, and witnessing tests of installations.
Responsibilities
Track project progress and perform change drawings.
Support Project Managers in the execution of blueprints.
Perform layouts and measurements.
Create lift drawings and shop drawings.
Handle RFIs (requests for information).
Obtain materials for the crew.
Verify the amount of materials (material take-offs).
Update drawings as needed.
Witness tests of installations.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
0-3 years of field construction experience.
0-3 years of project management experience.
0-3 years of experience interpreting blueprints for construction crews.
Proficiency with AutoCAD.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and office tools.
Work Environment
The company is one of the largest general contractors in Southeast Wisconsin, with a beautiful new office located near the stadium in Milwaukee. They are strong in the Healthcare, Educational, Industrial, and Commercial markets. The company offers a great training program.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.74 - $37.74
