Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of engineering design experience in a high-volume production, product development environment, particularly focused on consumer products or appliances.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design work for high-volume manufactured parts and component pieces.

• Create and validate CAD models and drawings, preferably using SolidWorks.

• Check and validate pieces from blueprints and bring them to operation.

• Lead projects with minimal management direction and ensure timely completion.

• Utilize engineering tools such as FMEAs, DOE, DVP&R, RCCM, PLM, Risk Analysis, and Statistics for product improvement processes.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to transition suppliers and support product development.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks for CAD modeling and drawing creation.

• Experience with ERP systems and blueprint validation.

• Strong project management skills and ability to lead projects independently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with castings, machined metal parts, and injection molded components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Experience with high-volume manufactured parts and component pieces.

• Knowledge of the product improvement process.

Work Environment

This position is on-site. The work environment includes working with advanced engineering tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development and supplier transitions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00
