Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Brookfield, Wisconsin

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This role will primarily involve managing all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and billing functions. The successful candidate will be using QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and reports.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and expense reports.

• Utilize QuickBooks to organize financial data and maintain accurate records.

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to ensure accurate financial statements.

• Manage the processing of customer credit applications and maintain accurate records.

• Proactively monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations.

• Collaborate with the team to implement financial strategies and ensure company goals are met.

• Continuously improve knowledge and skills in the bookkeeping and accounting field.

• Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management is essential

• Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is required

• Prior experience in managing Billing Functions is necessary

• Expertise in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks is mandatory

• The candidate should possess a deep understanding of Full Charge Bookkeeping

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed

• The ability to work independently and take initiative is expected

• A thorough understanding of financial reporting and other financial practices is required

• Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of maintaining a set of books and financial records is necessary.
