Actalent Construction Project Engineer in Brookfield, Wisconsin

Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

This role involves tracking project progress and performing change drawings. The successful candidate must have experience with AutoCAD, construction, and fieldwork. You will support Project Managers in executing blueprints, layout and measurement tasks, lift and shop drawings, RFIs, material procurement for crews, material take-offs, drawing updates, and witnessing installation tests.

Responsibilities

  • Track project progress and perform change drawings.

  • Support Project Managers in executing blueprints.

  • Perform layout and measurement tasks.

  • Prepare lift and shop drawings.

  • Handle RFIs (Requests for Information).

  • Procure materials for the crew.

  • Verify material quantities through material take-offs.

  • Update project drawings.

  • Witness and test installations.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field.

  • 0-3 years of field construction experience.

  • 0-3 years of project management experience.

  • Experience interpreting blueprints for construction crews in the field.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with AutoCAD.

  • Experience in commercial construction management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00
