Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will be joining our dynamic team, where they will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing customer accounts. The role encompasses a range of duties, from contacting past-due account holders to maintaining detailed records of all collection activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Contacting past-due account holders in a professional manner

• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized repayment plans

• Utilizing clear communication and negotiation skills to resolve delinquencies and collect outstanding payments

• Researching, investigating, and documenting account details to ensure accurate collections efforts

• Maintaining detailed records and reports on all collection activities

• Collaborating with colleagues and utilizing company resources to achieve successful outcomes

• Adhering to all federal and state laws and regulations governing debt collection practices

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Proficiently using accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for billing functions and collection processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Knowledge of Collection Processes

• Previous experience as a Collector is desirable

• Understanding of Credit systems

• Exceptional Customer Service skills

• Experience with Collections in a Commercial setting
