JOB TITLE: Cart Person DEPARTMENT: Dietary RESPONSIBLE TO: Dietary Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: Must possess, as a minimum, a 10^th^ grade education. No experience required; On-the-job training provided. Physical: Able to stand for long periods of time; able to lift in excess of 20 pounds. Professional appearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and portion cold foods for Residents, personnel, and guests for meals and between-meal nourishments. Prepare snacks and deliver them to nurses[]{wp="" typographicsymbols""="" stations.<br=""}
Wash small equipment used and work area.
Set up trays for Residents with cold foods, beverages, condiments and silverware (wrap silverware.)
Deliver and pick up food cart(s), and unload used trays.
Put away cafeteria cold foods after the meal hour.
Do routine cleaning as scheduled.
[Pay rate ranges from $11-$14/hr. depending on experience. [Evening shift does have an additional shift pay of $1.25/hr.
