Staffing 101 Group LLC Resident Advisor in Bronx, New York
Non-profit youth Shelter seeks responsible resident advisors to work their various facilities assisting homeless adolescents ages of 10 to 22.
Responsibilities: - Provide direct engagement, supervision and support to youth residing in shelter. - Assist youth with preparation for the day. - Support youth in life skills, ie. laundry, ironing, cleaning etc. - Provide support to Case Managers as needed, distribute appointment slips, appointment follow up, collection and filing of paperwork, assist with file maintenance and compliance. - Escort youths to other agencies and services when necessary (e.g., hospitals, mass transit).
Qualifications: - A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as resident advisor (working with adolescents) - Patience, understanding and compassion for others - Ability to work closely with youth but maintain professional boundaries - Must be able to work weekends and holidays - COVID 19 Vaccination required
Salary: $20/hour
Schedule: - Day Shift: 7am to 3pm - Evening shift 2pm to 10pm - Overnight 10pm to 8am (4 days a week) or 11pm to 7am (5 days a week)
