Erne Valley Electric Inc. seeks Project Manager (Bronx, NY) - Plan, coordinate, and oversee a range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects for commercial and residential clients. Allocate human resources for projects, including electricians, engineers, and support staff. Assign responsibilities and roles to project team members. Ensure procurement and efficient utilization of electrical materials, equipment, and supplies. Ensure adherence to project timelines and schedules, adjusting human and material resource allocations to meet milestones and deadlines. Assess project changes, including scope adjustments and unforeseen issues. Quickly resolve project issues as they arise and adjust planning to keep projects on track. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project activities and communicate and resolve issues. Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and financial records. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Establish and enforce quality control processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Travel on a weekly basis to visit project worksites and meet with stakeholders. The occupation of Project Manager will not require any national or international travel. The position will only require local travel in Manhattan and the 5 boroughs of New York City daily. The nature of the travel depends on the types of projects being managed - for example, meeting stakeholders for electrical inspection, fire alarm inspection, tracking project progress, etc. Reqs. Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in project management, business administration, or a related field of study, one (1) year of experience in project management or a closely related occupational field, project planning, project reporting, project resource management, issue identification & resolution and quality assurance & control.
