Oiler - (Temp to Perm)

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Under direct supervision is responsible for the lubrication of power plant, pumping and/or construction equipment; performs related work.

  • Lubricates and cleans pumps, engines, blowers, compressors, motors, gears, ejectors and other operating equipment.

  • Assists in the operation, maintenance and repair of this equipment.

  • Reads meters, gauges and other operating equipment.

  • Keeps logs.

  • Operates lubricant filtering and purifying equipment; maintains lubricant inventory.

  • May be designated to inspect and service swimming pools and building safety equipment.

  • May operate a motor vehicle in the performance of assigned duties.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION

A candidate must have passed the exam and be reachable on the eligible list for Oiler (CUNY), Exam #3102, in order to be considered for the position.

COMPENSATION

The salary is $124,280.
