Responsibilities

• Maintain all bakery manufacturing equipment in operational condition by performing preventive maintenance using the Work Order System.

• Troubleshoot and repair all bakery equipment. Collaborate with Line Group Leaders and Production Line Personnel to improve production processes and systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all support equipment, including air compressors, central refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, makeup air units, forklifts, pallet jacks, sweepers, exhaust fans, etc.

• Conduct minor troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical systems in the bakery.

• Adhere to the “Lockout & Tag out System”.

• Notify the Production Supervisor of equipment malfunctions or damage. Order spare parts and materials/supplies to ensure equipment remains operational.

• Troubleshoot and repair building and facilities equipment.

• Maintain direct communication with the Maintenance Manager to address and follow up on equipment problems and breakdowns during shifts. Major breakdowns should be reported within 30 minutes.

• Complete shift reports, downtime reports, work orders, and parts request forms with accurate information.
