Oracle Technical Project Manager in BRNO, Czech Republic

Job Description

We are hiring a Technical Project Manager to join the Software Development Life Cycle Operations team to implement tools and processes to ensure NetSuite Product Engineering Teams adherence to our SDLC policies and guidelines. We are looking for someone who has a passion for driving projects to completion and the aptitude for rolling up their sleeves to keep the overall program moving forward. “Rolling up their sleeves” includes collaborating with are engineering partners to solve process/tooling challenges, writing requirements for new tooling changes, and verifying new changes are working as expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management

  • Run effective project meetings involving technical topics and technical resources

  • Work with team to understand priority of open tasks

  • Track and Monitor status

  • Engage and contribute to meeting discussions

  • Process Management and Improvements

  • Participate in team collaboration to identify and improve operational processes within the development life cycle to ensure adherence to the SDLC policies and guidelines

  • Engage and contribution to the Project

  • Participate in team collaboration to identify and improve tools used in the development life cycle to ensure engineering adherence to the SDLC policies and guidelines

  • Document requirements for tooling changes

  • Ensure tooling changes are behaving as expected

  • Communicate/Rollout changes

  • Work with internal audits to review audit results (findings). Work with team to prioritize and prevent findings in the future

Qualifications/Skills:

A degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experienceA minimum of 3 years experience in the project management fieldA team player that can successfully work with engineersSolid understanding of Software Defect Life CycleUnderstanding of development tools such as Jira, GIT, PerforceExceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skillsExperience giving presentationsCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent written and oral communication (English)

Responsibilities

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
