Are you a driven Engineer who is eager to advance their career? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is currently seeking an Engineer III, Software with a track record of success to join our highly skilled Engineering team in Brno. Responsibilities:

• Determine software requirements and specifications for engineering projects.

• Successfully implement software solutions to meet project goals.

• Collaborate with teams from different departments to ensure seamless integration of software components.

• Compete in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality software products.

• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.

Experience:

• Design and implementation of product features in C++ based on requirements

• Testing your code both in an automated fashion and on the microscope

• Working on complex technical problems and providing sophisticated solutions

• Collaborating with a team of skilled engineers in Brno, Netherlands and USA

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of C++ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of software development processes and tools

• This position typically requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or another relevant domain

• Sound interpersonal skills and active knowledge of English

• Eligible for passport and ability to travel

We would be excited if you have:

• Experience with hardware control

• Experience with C# or Python

• Experience with Git, CI/CD
