The CNV DevOps team is looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer to play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our test infrastructure and release processes. In this role, you will ensure the stability and efficiency of our CI/CD pipelines while working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and monitor test automation workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting the Evergreen CI initiative and driving quality across Red Hat’s product releases. What You Will Do

• Manage and maintain the test infrastructure and hardware to ensure seamless operations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues proactively to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Create and share release plans in alignment with stakeholders.

• Coordinate hardware requirements and ensure proper resource allocation.

• Collaborate with component teams to review and refine test jobs for relevance across release streams.

• Maintain automated test jobs to ensure quality assurance best practices.

• Maintain high-quality standards and support the team’s CI/CD initiatives.

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience in managing test infrastructures and hardware in cloud-based environments.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test management platforms.

• Proficiency in coding/scripting and automation tools to build and maintain robust processes.

• Exceptional communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to align and coordinate with component teams to ensure product goals are met.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Capacity to meet deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is highly desirable.
