Senior Software Engineer in Test

What you will do?

We’re looking for ambitious and creative engineers in test with a track record for innovation in cloud-based applications.

You will be a part of the Localization team in Brno. In our context, Localization means working on additional applications extending NetSuite’s core functionality. We leverage NetSuite platform tools to develop these applications tailored for specific regions / countries, such as support for electronic payments or tax reports. We also develop powerful NetSuite-based solutions allowing our customers to view and edit various country-specific financial statements.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of functional or business requirements

  • Preparation of test plans and test automation implementation

  • Execution of test automation on CI/CD server

  • Active participation in scrum ceremonies (helping us to improve our product)

  • Analysis of issues reported by customers

  • Active participation in the release process

Qualifications/skills

  • B.S or Master’s degree (or relevant experience in the industry)

  • 3+ years of software testing experience

  • 3+ years of experience with test automation

  • Understanding of HTTP, Internet protocols, web browsers

  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to understand functional requirements

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English are required

  • Open mind for discussions and team collaboration

  • Willingness to learn

Nice to have

  • Experience with working in an Agile/SCRUM development team

  • Good understanding of SQL

  • Understanding of cloud-based distributed software applications

  • Basic understanding of business processes and/or accounting

Responsibilities

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
