Oracle Senior Product Analyst in BRNO, Czech Republic

Job Description

The Product Analyst is a key contributor to our product strategies. Working with Product Managers and Leadership across the organization, Product Analysts collect internal and external data, analyze it, and build visualizations and plans, which feed into business strategies, go-to-market plans, and executive reports. Product Analysts are key advisors and help us make realistic decisions and justify them with data.

Responsibilities

  • Be the expert on all data related questions. Drive timely gathering and analysis of data from the business and produce key business insights through easily digestible visual presentations.

  • Conduct in-depth research of data sources, making sure that the gathered data matches the requested problems and business requirements.

  • Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems/reports/dashboards/workbooks that will support our business needs.

  • Understand the technical capabilities of our platform, components ownership across Applications Development, and advise on instrumentation strategies and tooling.

  • Be a "know your data, know your business" champion across Applications Product Development Teams. Educate and collaborate with the Teams so that they take ownership of their own data and insights.

  • Collaborate with Product Directors and Managers, as well as collaborators from the business, to define and implement success metrics across the product portfolio.

  • Collaborate with other data science oriented and data-driven teams within the organization.

What you will bring

  • 5+ years of product analysis and development experience. Degree in mathematics and statistical sciences is a plus.

  • You are passionate about understanding complex systems, getting deep into data structures and making them talk.

  • An ability and interest in working, and continuous re-learning, in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

  • Ability to build trust by producing high quality and accurate insights.

  • High level of autonomy, demonstrating the ability to work in a global, multi-functional team environment, collaborating with groups of subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Data science and machine learning experience is a plus.

Key skills

  • Excellent knowledge of statistics and tools for analyzing big data (SQL, Python, etc.)

  • Advanced skills in data visualizations and story telling.

  • Excellent analytical, problem discovery, and problem solving skills.

  • Working knowledge of data mining and big data warehouse.

  • Great (English) communication and presentation skills.

  • Great time management, ability to plan and complete with sometimes changing priorities.
