What will you do

We are looking for a talented test automation engineer for implementing automated test of solutions that includes database schema, business logic, and presentation layer work.

You will be involved in our agile testing process sprint by sprint and will work with other engineers on the testing strategy for each release. You will participate in the risk analysis process and, using best practices, propose mitigation plans that will involve test automation (both backend and frontend), performance, smoke, exploratory testing, and others .

Your qualifications & skills

• B.S. or Master’s in computer engineering or equivalent

• 2+ years software testing experience

• experience with Java (C# or similar)

• experience with TypeScript/JavaScript

• Understanding of HTTP, Internet protocols, web browsers

• Solid experience with testing methodologies and techniques

• Great problem-solving skills and ability to understand functional requirements

• Experience testing high-performance scalable applications

• Very good written and oral communication skills in English are required

• An open mind for discussion and team collaboration

Recommended

• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development team

• Experience with test automation for web applications (integration/UI/JS testing)

• Solid ability to understand the development of web applications and client-side UI frameworks (experience with Angular, React, or similar frameworks) is a plus

• Knowledge of ECMAScript versions and browser compatibility is a plus

• Previous experience testing cloud applications or PaaS

• Understanding of cloud-based distributed software applications
