The Position
In R&D Software Engineering Tools and Infrastructure team we are responsible for supporting all software engineering teams within R&D. We are a distributed team handling infrastructure, configuration management, software tooling, process automation and developer support for the R&D organization. Join us and help us with our mission - to make world heathier, cleaner and safer!
Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:
Develop and maintain CI/CD and automation pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab
Make sure all parts of build pipeline work seamlessly together from the build environment creation until artifacts archival
develop scripts for automation and software development support
collaborate with software development and test teams to understand their needs and support the goals of R&D in creating high-quality software
Transfer ideas into planning and architecture models
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or similar (or equivalent experience)
Understanding of git and branching strategies
Working experience with Artifactory, Nexus or other repository manager, CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab PIpelines, GitHub Actions)
Experience with configuration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and Linux systems administration
Experience with virtualization platforms and cloud technologies (VMware, OpenStack, Azure, AWS)
Proficient in English
Bonus skills:
Working experience with K8s and containers
Experience with monitoring tools
Competencies:
Support software development organization in their effort of delivering software products
Collaborate in the global SETI team and improve processes and services we provide
