Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Transportation CADD Designer with 4 or more years of experience in design-bid-build and design-build projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation CADD design and a proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and prepare detailed transportation design drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements.
Utilize CADD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation) to create detailed design drawings and models.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical support and expertise.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and presentations.
Review and analyze design documents, plans, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address project-related issues and concerns.
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or technical certification in CAD design, drafting, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in transportation CAD design, specifically in design-bid-build and design-build projects.
Proficiency in CADD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, CAD Design, or a related field.
Experience with project management and client coordination.
Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations and standards.
Familiarity with GIS software and applications.

Salary Range:
$24.71 - $45.96
