Saint-Gobain Receiving & Packaging Clerk (Aerospace) in BRISTOL, Rhode Island
In this role, the incumbent will inspect and process receipt of all goods and services entering the site using ERP/QAD and routes the items to their proper destination. The incumbent will also identify and segregate all non-conforming parts found during product inspection through the completion of non-conforming material reports. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical in this area.
The Packaging and Receiving Clerk will maintain accuracy and proper storage locations of finished and semi-finished products. This role is also responsible for picking orders for shipping including all packaging requirements in accordance with site and customer specifications.• Receive goods from freight carriers and couriers and complete any paperwork necessary to accept deliveries.
• Process and verify all items received per the purchase order. This requires a check between the physical quantity and the quantity on the purchase order. Identify and segregate items that require receiving inspection.
• Record the GRN (Goods Receipt Number) on the packing list and deliver all paperwork to purchasing.
• Utilize ERP, QAD or other systems to complete transaction, verify counts, inspect and validate incoming materials to ensure they meet production and customer requirements.
• Receive in products against the PO using ERP, QAD or other systems.
• Identify and route all deliveries to the proper departments. Route all raw materials to designated storage areas.
• Use safe practices and comply with all company policies, procedures and health, safety and environmental regulations, as required.
• Follow all safety requirements pertaining to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintains work space before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles.
• Complete all paperwork correctly and legibly.
• Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.
• Other Duties as assigned.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs./week * 52wks)) for this position, is $41,100 to $45,700. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
