Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with a background in aerospace manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), as well as knowledge of blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and ISO 9001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of aerospace components and assemblies using CMM and other precision measuring tools.

• Interpret and analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Apply GD&T principles to evaluate part features and tolerances.

• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

• Participate in internal audits and assist in maintaining quality management systems.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.

• Proficiency in operating CMM equipment and interpreting inspection data.

• Knowledge of blueprints and GD&T.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
