About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Specification team based in our Murarrie office in Brisbane. Reporting directly to the Specification National Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing the Sales team with a key focus on maximising the growth opportunity within the Queensland market.

Key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:

• Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve desired levels of sales volume & market share

• Build and maintain client relationships – proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities

• Responsible for growing ASSA ABLOY specifications in the QLD market, driving the team to ensure continuation of opportunities and maximising sales potential of ASSA ABLOY products & services through leadership, performance management & coaching

• Drive the sales team to detail and execute the management of projects from specification through to order

About You

You are a strong leader with a proven track record in driving business and sales success within the building or door manufacturing industry. You will have demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on coaching and developing the team to be the best they can be to ensure the sales across the business continues to grow while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You will hold sound commercial and market knowledge to build the business and technical knowledge to ensure the right products are brought to the market. You will have sound knowledge of the Architectural specification market along with a proven track record of influencing key stakeholders within the sales process.
