THE ROLE
W Brisbane, located at 81 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring a Junior Sous Chef.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will deliver unique experiences that surprise and delight our guests:
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service
Assist in preparing and cooking dishes according to the hotel’s menu and standard recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
Monitor stock levels and ensure kitchen supplies are ordered in a timely manner, maintaining stock organization.
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
You have a fresh, innovative take on food trends and love curating new concepts
You are a hands on leader that has a passion for developing teams

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Cert 4 in commercial cookery or similar
Career minded
Minimum 3 years proven experience
Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
Experienced in faced paced environments
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices
