Amazon has an immediate opening for a lead IT Support for our amazing Brisbane CBD corporate office. As our site lead IT Support Engineer you will have sole responsibility for delivering end-user support, infrastructure management, and audiovisual assistance for the Brisbane Amazon community. With Amazon returning to 5 days per week in office in Jan 2025, this will be a busy time. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team and leverage cutting-edge, in-house AI tools like Amazon Bedrock to support our Amazonians.

What You'll Do:

  • Promptly research, resolve, and respond to user requests, ensuring high-quality support and meeting or exceeding customer expectations (Customer obsession)

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot end-user computing issues, from analysis to testing and follow-up

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to process support requests, incidents, and project activities

  • Assist with triage and escalation of server, system, or network issues

  • Manage accurate inventory of Amazon-owned equipment

  • Provide hands-on and remote support for teleconferencing systems and AV presentation equipment

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience

  • 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience

  • 2+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience

  • 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience

  • 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience

  • Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision.

  • May require lifting or carrying desktop computers up to 25lbs.

  • Some on call responsibilities are required.

  • Occasional out of office hours required for urgent requests - Weekend, Evenings or Nights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment

  • 3+ years of network troubleshooting and support experience

  • 3+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience

  • 3+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience
