We have a exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie (Full Time) to join our creative culinary brigade and cook up a storm! Come and join our hotels in a journey of making travel more human, connected, and sustainable. Here, everyone's role matters, and your individuality is celebrated.

Qualifications:

The Role

  • Working closely with our Executive Chef to assist with creating and executing stunning menus with a local seasonal twist

  • To organize and set up the assigned section of the Kitchen as effectively as possible to increase efficiency and productivity whilst maintain the standards of the Hyatt Brand

  • To ensure that all guest contact culinary associates in the outlet deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times

  • To be able to create special menus, suggest alternatives, meet specific customer requests and interact with customers to meet and exceed their culinary expectations.

  • To assist in monitoring kitchen operating costs and stock control and takes corrective action when necessary to balance cost and stock

  • To align with HCAAP standards within the kitchen and compliance with WHS policies and procedures in the hotel and to

The Person

  • Cert III or higher in Commercial Cookery and A la carte experience required

  • Previous experience in a 5 star hotel environment preferred

  • Have passion, creativity and the desire to work with the team to lead the culinary brigade

  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings weekends & public holidays

  • Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Naturally curious and driven, willing to try new thing and ready to grow their professional career to the next level
