We are offering an exciting long-term contract employment opportunity in Bridgewater, New Jersey, for a Staff Accountant . The position will involve managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions

• Oversee and handle all Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring that all entries are accurate and up-to-date

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process

• Utilize financial software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline accounting tasks

Requirements • Possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software

• Knowledge of Oracle financial management systems

• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software

• Experience in SAP financial software

• Background in the retail - furniture industry is an advantage
