Job Summary

The Performance Improvement team is an entrepreneurial and agile group of results-oriented and collaborative practitioners responsible for driving portfolio of strategic and OP impacting initiatives across the organization. The team reports to the CEO and works closely with senior leadership and the business to manage large scale transformation programs and portfolios of projects for continuous improvement. We work in an environment of partnership, personal development and collaboration in a project-based consulting model. We are engaged from ideation to execution and sustainability of programs.

Principal Responsibilities

Program / Portfolio Management

  • Drives execution of cross-functional end-to-end programs with laser focus on desired outcome

  • Defines scope and project goals, organizing work streams with specific deliverables and phasing

  • Executes against ambitious timelines and manages constrained resources in a rapidly evolving environment

  • Is seasoned in understanding risks and implementing mitigation strategies

  • Ensures the right KPIs and dashboards are in the place to measure results and sustainability

  • Understands business drivers and levers to meet business targets with flexibility, speed, and determination

  • Displays a consultative approach to problem solving with transferability of skills and knowledge (use of questions, and business, continuous improvement, and project management tools & frameworks)

  • Ability to manage multiple activities while working effectively under pressure/deadlines

    Analytical and Critical Thinker

  • Sees the big picture while still providing good attention to details; able to quantify benefit and identify priorities, trade-off and solution options

  • Analyzes and synthesizes large quantities of data to support hypotheses, draw conclusions and make recommendations

    Communications & Stakeholder Management

  • Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written

  • High quality executive presentations with a clear and compelling storyline

  • Excellent organizational, facilitation and collaboration skills

  • Strong presence with the ability to quickly build credibility

  • Trusted advisor to the business; able to work with varying levels of stakeholders and audiences in the organization

  • Works collaboratively to connect dots, solve problems, escalate issues, find opportunities, and address challenges

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience

  • Six sigma Black Belt certification preferred

  • Experience in the application of continuous improvement tools /methodologies

  • Strong understanding and application of Lean, Six Sigma, Process Improvement and change management Tools & Philosophy

  • Advanced project management skills (business & analytical mind set)

  • Consulting experience a plus

  • Basic financial analysis (P&L, Balance Sheet)

  • Advanced Power Point and Excel Skills

  • Industry Experience a plus

  • Advanced skills in business modeling a plus

  • Experience in developing training content in Articulate a plus

  • Familiarity with tools like Orchestra, MS Project, Visio and Minitab a plus

  • Tech savvy with a good understanding of digital technologies preferred

  • Familiarity with Design Thinking or Design for Six Sigma a plus

    Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management or related field

  • Master's in Business or MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 7+ years Business Management experience of which 3- 4 years in Program Management or related experience
