We are seeking an experienced Process Excellence Lead to oversee the implementation and success of process changes within the Indirect Procurement organization.
The Process Excellence Lead will collaborate with the Director of Indirect Procurement to drive organizational transformation initiatives, overseeing policies, processes, and technologies to enhance standardization and identify areas for improvement, while managing enablement activities such as training and implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a new role that will be responsible for identifying and driving improvement opportunities across the end-to-end Procurement process, specifically to the Indirect Procurement organization.
This will involve working with colleagues in Procurement as well as selecting business and / or cross-functional stakeholders to identify pain points, define a roadmap for required improvements, execute supporting initiatives and track adoption and results.
It will also involve aligning with counterparts in the Direct Procurement organization to identify opportunities for synergies, share lessons learned and drive consistency (where practical) across the teams.
The ultimate objective is to support the Director of Indirect Procurement with the continued evolution of Bausch’s procurement organization to a more strategic function, highly valued by their internal customers.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR DAY
Oversee the development, implementation and execution of process improvement and change management initiatives for Indirect Procurement organization
Manage enablement activities globally such as training, reporting, and change management communication campaigns
Partner with the Director of Indirect Procurement to develop business cases for any investments required for recommended improvements
Manage cross-functional project teams globally to diagnose and implement process improvement opportunities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and adoption of changes
Develop reporting tools and cadences to measure and report on process improvement initiatives to monitor the ongoing effectiveness of processes and make necessary adjustments
Facilitate training and workshops for procurement colleagues towards proper application of tools, processes, and policies
Incorporating stakeholder feedback on user experience and program operations to ensure a smooth and seamless user journey.
Collecting data and auditing team activities to evaluate adoption and impact of improvement initiatives
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Procurement, Marketing, Finance, or Business
Minimum of 6 years of experience in one of: Process Engineering, Project Management and/or Transformation roles
Preferred experience across multiple functional aspects of procurement (sourcing, procurement operations (P2P), supplier management, category management, etc.)
Preferred experience in pharmaceutical industry
Demonstrated proficiency in complex project management and organizational skills
Experience with the design and implementation of new operating models or ways of working
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change at scale
Proficient in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
