Job Summary:
The Helium Technical Manager will support the substantial helium business at Messer. This role will own and develop standard procedures, designs and support for the teams in the field. This role is critical in maintaining profitability through efficient use of our resources.

Principal Responsibilities:
Technical support for transfill network in the USA
Technical Support for affiliate’s transfills
Technical support for containers and tube trailers
Technical support for Otis location
Technical support for customers bulk sites
Standard designs for installations for new transfills and customer sites
Procedures – ultimate sign off for procedures on operation of transfill sites and customer installations
Evaluation of losses and best practices to reduce costly losses
Safety in transfill network and at Otis
Required Skills:
Technical skills in engineering
Technical understanding of cryogenics
Operational Skills – experience in working in operations
Analytical skills
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering- ideally Mechanical or Chemical
Experience in industrial gas industry is preferred
Understanding of P&ID’s and operating procedures
Experience:
5-10 years post degree, ideally in cryogenic related field
